The idea of the HAPPY HANDICAP MUSIC BUS, is to bring a complete sound video and art studio, to mainly handicapped children adults and anyone who
Would like to learn to play an musical instrument, learn to write and record a song, make a video, make a CD, paint a painting, learn music theory, or just have some fun
and an introduction to professional recording techniques BY professional musician musicians, artists, and finding musical instruments, and art materials free, for the less fortunate persons
THE HAPPY HANDICAP BUS can visit, once a month, for a week, or a few days, hospital schools, any town hall, or institutions to bring the world of art and music, to mainly handicapped people, physical mental or just less favoured communities
MEL DAVIS why me? I myself am now a handicapped person for the last 8 years, before I was handicapped, I was a touring musician, composer recording engineer, producer, artist and recording studio owner.
I have 35 years experience playing piano, guitar bass drums, synthesizers and programming experience.
Now I would like to give people like me the chance to enjoy life as fully as possible.
Most handicapped people are forgotten by society, much is so in the arts and music.
I can offer my experience my personal instruments and material and also employ my self and hopefully others in a job that I excel in,.
I HAVE A COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL RECORDING STUDIO WITH MANY INSTRUMENTS WHICH I WILL DONATE FREE TO THE PROJECT.
BUT I NEED HELP, to buy a double-decker bus and to fit it out for this project, help in finding more musical instruments and art materials. I have air brushes compressor, but will need canvases paint, brushes etc.
For sponsors I will give great publicity by painting their logo on the bus and also in the press book of this association.
